Collection: Buddha

Buddha, also known as Siddhartha Gautama, was a spiritual leader and founder of Buddhism, one of the world’s major religions. Born as a prince in Lumbini (modern-day Nepal) around the 6th to 4th century BCE, he renounced his royal life in search of enlightenment and the truth of existence. His teachings focus on the path to enlightenment, liberation from suffering, and achieving Nirvana (the state of ultimate peace and freedom from the cycle of birth and death).

Symbolism of Buddha Statues:

  • Seated Buddha in Meditation: Represents peace, tranquility, and inner reflection.
  • Standing Buddha: Symbolizes strength, determination, and benevolence.
  • Reclining Buddha: Depicts the Buddha at the moment of entering Nirvana.
  • Laughing Buddha (Hotei in Chinese culture): Associated with happiness, prosperity, and abundance.

Buddha’s teachings continue to inspire millions around the world, promoting compassion, mindfulness, and ethical living. He is often regarded as a symbol of peace, wisdom, and spiritual awakening.
